Travel Tips: Seoul & Busan, Korea

Kalini aku nak share tips melancong ke Korea. Mungkin ada sebahagian daripada tips ni dah tak valid pada tahun ni sebab semua ni ala-ala throwback jugak la.

Supaya lebih universal, izinkan aku menulis dalam English

TIPS#1 : Go to this platform if you are travelling from the Incheon Airport to Dongdaemun direction using the Airport Bus

TIPS #2: Refer to this schedule to plan your time to get to Nami Island, Petite France and Morning Calm Arboretum. Keep the bus ticket for free ride in to the next stops ☺

TIPS #3: Look for this people with red T-shirt and hat in Bukchon Hanok Village. They are the helpful tourist guide with good command of English. They will show you the right way of heading towards your destination in this area; just in case you are looking for the house featured in Personal Taste - Sanggojae. One more thing, this is a residential area so please keep your voice down and avoid from congesting the road :)

TIPS #4: Try out the traditional Hanbok in Duksu-gung and the royal/soldier apparel in Gyeongbuk-gung for free

TIPS #5: Make sure that you have the LATEST subway map! You can also installed useful apps in your smartphone like Jihachul to help you to navigate from each subway station. We prefer to have a printed Subway map for back up if our phones are running out of power. Seoul Subway Map

TIPS #6: While using the subway or bus, please queue properly before entering and give way to the passengers moving out from the subway/bus. The Korean are pretty strict with their culture of respecting the elders. Make sure that you are not sitting on the seat allocated for elders (in Subways).

TIPS #7: Walking/Running shoes work best for travelling via subway and on foot. The distance between interchange stations is quiet far and there are not so many escalators available. In fact, their tourist spot area like the castles are sooo big and we have to walk a lot! We figured that this might be the reason why most Korean are so slim and fit.

TIPS #8: Look for travel coupons/vouchers online to help you save up more!
